Message I'm not trying to come off as a smart ass in asking but I myself would think this would be close. If I were building a 1000hp VG I promise you I would build with that being a possibility.
I do have to say allot of this bickering is unneeded as the OP didn't even post any useful info to take in consideration of what his build would require and we are all under our own assumption.
As far as the rod bolts go, EPR is putting all kinds of crazy 2000hp numbers up but not stating if this were on a V-8 or V-6, What size bolt were these on this 2000hp motor? If it were me and I just dropped 25g on a 1000hp VG and broke a standard issue rod bolt that is "good enough" for everyone else I'd beat myself silly.
There are not enough 1000hp VG out there to assume the ARP2000 is sufficient. Another grande on upgraded bolts sounds like cheap insurance to me.

All this is not directed towards you personally Zlover, It was just easier to say what I needed in one post about this entire page.
